Andrew Skier selected to sit on Board of Directors of Federal Defender Organization

Andrew M. Skier, founder and chief trial counsel of Andrew M. Skier & Associates, has been selected to be a member of the board of Directors for the Federal Public Defender Organization serving the Middle Judicial District of Alabama. This is the organization that oversees and administers the Federal Defender Office for the District.

Mr. Skier has been a CJA Panel Attorney for nearly a decade, and is currently serving his second three-year term as CJA Panel Representative for the Middle District of Alabama.

Mr. Skier is honored to receive this honor and looks forward enthusiastically to helping maintain the high level of representation provided to indigent criminal defendants in the Middle District.
